Meter, PV, BESS
Modbus RTU over RS485, Modbus TCP over the site network.
Self-consumption and battery optimization need the meter, the PV inverter and the battery on one clock. mini-OTG reads them over Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and qualified vendor profiles and delivers one timestamped stream to your energy-management system.
Discuss your integration
Inverter and battery manufacturers route data through their own portals and APIs, each with its own rate limits, delays and terms. An EMS that optimizes across brands ends up integrating one vendor cloud after another, and still cannot act locally when those clouds are slow.
mini-OTG reads the equipment on site instead: the grid meter over P1 or HAN, inverters and batteries over RS485 or Ethernet using Modbus, and other devices through supported UDP profiles. It maps the values you need and publishes them straight to your broker or API.
Where a battery or inverter profile supports it, your platform can send setpoints back through the gateway, for example charge and discharge limits.
Product capability, not a compatibility list. We qualify exact models, firmware and profiles against your deployment.
An installer configures the gateway on its local web server and enters your endpoint and credentials. Data goes straight to your platform. No mini-OTG cloud sits in between.
Modbus RTU over RS485, Modbus TCP over the site network.
One timestamped schema across vendors.
Your platform decides and sends supported setpoints back.
Devices exposing Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP, and supported UDP-based profiles, are within the product scope. Exact models, firmware versions and register maps are qualified during your evaluation before they are listed as compatible.
Yes, where the connected battery and its qualified profile support the control function. Commands go from your platform directly through the gateway to the device, with no mini-OTG cloud in between.
For the data points available locally, yes: the gateway reads them on site and delivers them to your own endpoint. Which values are available depends on the device profile, which is confirmed during the evaluation.
DIN-rail smart meter gateway for the P1 or HAN port (DSMR, eMUCS-P1, Modbus). Live meter data straight to your MQTTS broker, WebSocket or HTTPS API.
Live grid-connection data and charger state for dynamic load balancing in your CSMS or EMS. P1, Modbus, OCPP and EEBUS on one white-label gateway.
Connect heat pumps and HVAC through SG Ready, EEBUS or Modbus. Your platform monitors them and sends flexibility commands. White-label edge gateway.
We scope an evaluation around your named devices, your endpoint and the evidence you need.
